Female Powerful Owl “Polly” at Buchan
Birds: Powerful Owl, Common Sandpiper, Wedge-tailed Eagle, White-bellied Sea-eagle, Hooded Plover, Sooty Oystercatcher, Freckled Duck and Bassian Thrush. 3 species of cuckoo including Pallid Cuckoo, Fan-tailed Cuckoo and Horsfield’s Bronze-cuckoo. 10 species of parrot/cockatoo including Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo and Gang-gang, Galah, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Little Corella, Musk Lorikeet and Australian King-parrot. Also great views of a pair of Little Ravens interacting with a Laughing Kookaburra.
Mammals: Platypus, Echidna, Long-nosed Bandicoot as well as three species of macropod, Koala and Grey-headed Flying-fox.
